Fairview Township Sewer&Water Authorities located in Fairview, Pennsylvania

Effective May 16, 2010, the bulk water rate for all bulk water customers will be adjusted up by 2.5% or by $0.14 per 1,000 gallons. The rate adjustment will appear on the billing for the quarter ending May 15, 2010. The current rate of $5.76 per 1,000 gallons will adjust up to $5.90 per 1,000 gallons per quarter. This rate adjustment is necessary because of a rate adjustment passed on to the Water Authority by Erie Water Works of 10.3% through the Millcreek Township Water Authority. The Water Authority however did not adjust the water rate in 2009. The Water Authority will continue to operate with fiscal responsibility on behalf of the water customers in Fairview Township.

The following notice will be sent to customers that are water haulers .

Effective May 16, 2010 the bulk water rate for all bulk water haulers will be adjusted up by 2.5% or by $0.15 per 1,000 gallons. The current rate of $6.35 per 1,000 gallons will adjust up to $6.50 per 1,000 gallons. The administrative charge of $15 per billing will remain the same. The Water Authority however did not adjust the water rate for 2009. The Water Authority will continue to operate with fiscal responsibility on behalf of the water customers of Fairview Township.

The following notice will be mailed to the three associations that purchase bulk water from the Water Authority.
